I bought her first album at the end of last week when I heard her fantastic song "This is the Life". I was kind of surprised when my favorite radio station played insted of rock music her debut song. I heard the first stanza and was enthralled. Her folksongs are great and stirring. She plays an acoustic guitar. The lyrics are dealing with our average daily life. "Let's Start a Band" is responding on the terrible castingshows, which are flooding our tv screens. Her voice is an unique mix of Sharleen Spiteri (Texas) and Alison Moyet. The CD contains 10 songs. Which are all great. They aren't the same like on albums of other artist. My favorite is "Footballer's Wife". Other songs are: "Youth of Today", "Mr Rock & Roll", "Barrow Ballroom", "Poison Prince", "Run", "L.A." and "A Wish for Something More". I hope you enjoy her songs. |

| Thank you. Clear and brief. Maybe a bit too brief. Some more information about each single song would be cool. |
