If you want to treat yourself with some incredible sweets you should definitively try McVitie's and their great range of products. Surely there are some biscuits which you can get cheaper at Tesco's or the Poundshop e.g. Jaffa Cakes, Chocolate Fingers or Digestive Biscuits which have no big differences in taste to McVitie's. But there are some products of McVitie's which are incredibly differnt to the average. So for example McVitie's Ginger Cake, McVitie’s Mini Blackcurrant Cookies and Mcvities Caramel Chocolate Digestive. Especially the last one makes me melting away just when I´m thinking on it. Mcvities Caramel Chocolate Digestive are absolutely great in value (taste is great) but the package is quite small. But very often there are special offers at Tesco's where you get 2 packs for £1.50 and thats okay. Particularly for caramel lovers are these biscuits a treat. Between a creamy chocolate topping and a healthy digestive biscuit is a chewy film of toffee (which is quite thick so you can enjoy it even more but it is also quite resistant). When you took a bite you just savour. The best thing on it is that I was so sated after 4 or some because the biscuits are very stuffing and it best to eat them to your tea or coffee. Which makes the lovely taste perfect. But honestly isn´t that even better? Chocolate in general makes you getting fat so eating less and enjoying is perfect :). For all who do not like digestives I can say that you do not really taste the ingredients of digestive biscuits because the flavour of toffee and chocolate is even stronger and better. I highly recommend this product and go and get myself one now :). |
