	Garage, Punk&Rock-...  Review Review from maryodonnell, October 2008 Pros: everything Cons: nothing you can dance a waltz to ;) Veni, Vidi, Vicious is an album I listened to a lot when I was in my late teens. I still really enjoy the speed this music comes with, as well as the energetic feeling it provokes. I listened to that album again and again and I came to the conclusion that ‘The Hives’ must have had especially one aim in mind: to rock – hard -- for 27 minutes straight. E- guitars and snotty voices. That`s what makes the character of the album! An album that is made of powerful neo- garage songs that heavily lean on punk. For me ’The Hives’ captured the energy of the 70s punk rock era and brought it to the millenium!
