Pros: beautiful images nad colours, heartwarming story, excellent actress

Cons: nothing for action-fans ;)
When I watched this movie for the first time I didn't like it. I can't remeber why...I think I found it confusing. Probably because "Amelie" is not a movie we are used to. Director Jean-Pierre Jeunet has his own special style. The way he uses the colours, the perspectives, the music...all this transports the viewers into Amelie's world. Into the world of a lonesome and shy young lady who seeks love and dreams of a better life filled with love. Meanwhile she enjoys the little things in life, which to show is a master piece of art by Jeunet. And because Amelie doesn't dare to change HER OWN life, she prefers to change the lifes of all the people around her. Until...she falls...
