Scary Movies

do you also like scary movies at times?



the last one I saw was "The Vanishing" with Sandra Bullock.  It's about a young couple that stops at a gas station on their way home. Diane (Sandra Bullock) needs to go to the toilet and disappears. Her boyfriend Jeff (Barney Cousins) calls the police but they soon give up searching. But Jeff doesn't. After three years he meets Rita and falls in love with her. But still he can't let go Diane. Just when Rita makes him realize that it's time to make a new start the kidnapper confronts Jeff who is desperate to know what happened to his girlfriend.

The kidnapper agrees to tell him everything under one condition: Jeff has to go through exactly the same as Diane...



I won't tell you the rest because of course when you watch the film you want to know what happened as well!



It's not the best movie I've ever seen. in fact it's not an ingenious film at all. maybe the original movie from 1988 is better. wikipedia says that the remake was poorly received...does anyone know the original?



or any other good scary movie??
