Hi!

I mainly use Canon, sometimes Kodak, as most of my friends have a Kodak cam. I have to say that I like Kodak  and never had problems  with any of the cams  I  borrowed from my friends.  If you're interested , you can have a look at the  Kodak  web site for details. There are cams available for less than £ 100.00!

But before you have a look you should think about what your parents need the cam for. Maybe you can convince some other family members to contribute to the present and you could spend a little more on the camera.

Hope you'll find the right one!!!

Thank you for your advice, Lite83!

Well, as my parents are amateurs (So am I.) I think a basic cam would be OK. Probably  at least 3 megapixel, 4*zoom? Would this be enough? What do you think?

On amazon you get it for £135 plus shipping=140! but keep in mind that you'll need to buy an additional memory card (Sony Memory Stick 2 GB for £7.19.  otherwise it stores only a hundred (?) or less pics on the camera itself.

Well, for me 100 or less pics should be OK and if not 7 pounds are not that much. Thank you anyways!!!
